Lyvabel Body Works LLC is based in Northern Vermont on a quaint family farm where gardening barefoot, feeding the animals and walking the fields with my children is life. I created Lyvabel Body Works in 2018 while working as a Medical Assistant for a busy dermatology practice. In 2021, my husband and I decided it would best serve our family if I left the working world to stay home with our three kiddos. With the support of my husband, family and friends, I pursued my dream of building a business out of my love for soap making. Soap making quickly snowballed into all things skincare! I have found great pleasure through this journey and I plan to continue on for a long time to come.
Lyvabel (pronounced livable) was named after my daughter, Lyv , and my middle son, Abel. (Sorry Anthony, you weren't born yet, ha!)
I source ingredients locally, support other small businesses and utilize what is in season when I am able. In order to meet the many needs of my wide spread customer base, I use both pure essential oils and phthalate free fragrance oils. All pure essential oils, base oils and butters come from reputable suppliers and are sustainably sourced! When sourcing fragrance oils I assure they come from a reputable supplier and are free of phthalates, parabens, SLS, and SLES.
